consumers who are aware, alert and attentive look out FOR certain key words when they are shopping, or hear an advertisement on the radio, TV or online.

One key word to be aware of is the word “Just” advertisers use this word often to gaslight the consumer into thinking and accepting that if they purchase the product it should be no big deal. Rather it’s very miniscule to your needs or budget. Having little effect on your life. Businesses sometime take no regard to a consumers circumstances after they’ve purchase their product or service. If they can they will guilt trip you into making the purchase be saying “Just” like “Just” about every consumer has one or were able to purchase one.

Another key word businesses use to lower consumers into purchasing their products or services is the word “Only” another gaslight word used to make the consumer depart from their hard earned money. The item may cost $25,000 and the consumer has just $2,500 to their name it does not matter to the business. If push comes to shove you can put the balance on a credit card or take a personal loan, some businesses don’t care if the customer can pay their debt back as long as they get your money. “Only” and “Just” are interchangeable terms used by businesses. The use of these two word's often times serve as a subliminal way for businesses to say, “if you can’t afford the purchase or service I wasn’t speaking to you anyway.”
